Professor Dodge

Dr. Dodge earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University at Albany located in Albany, NY. She attended graduate school at the University at Albany and received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology in 2003. Dr. Dodge spent 5 years as an Assistant Professor in the Applied Social Psychology program at The George Washington University. She arrived at Skidmore College in the fall of 2008. Dr. Dodge's research focuses on decision making and self-regulation with an emphasis on adolescent health.



Carrie Gavett

Carrie is a junior at Skidmore College majoring in Psychology. Carrie plans to attend graduate school after graduation to become a therapist. Carrie works on lab projects investigating sports participation as a protective factor and the superstar study.







Molly von der Heydt

Molly is a senior at Skidmore College majoring in Psychology. Molly worked over the summer as a research assistant for the VA conducting interviews. Molly works on lab projects investigating sports participation as a protective factor and the superstar study.





Laura Flynn

Laura is a senior at Skidmore College majoring in Psychology. Laura worked at The George Washington University in a research lab as part of an APA summer fellowship program. Laura works on lab projects investigating sports participation as a protective factor and the superstar study.




Annette Kaufman

Annette is a fifth year doctoral student in the Applied Social Psychology program at The George Washington University. Annette received a B.A. in Psychology and Dance from Goucher College. Annette collaborates on the FDA projects and is currently working on her dissertation. Annette's research interests include health and risk-taking behaviors.




Dana Litt

Dana is a fourth year doctoral student in the Applied Social Psychology program at The George Washington University. Dana received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Miami. Dana collaborates on the FDA projects and projects investigating social psychological factors affecting use of performance enhancing substances. Dana is currently working on her dissertation. Dana's research interests include social psychological factors affecting use of performance enhancing substances.




Sarah Bennett

Sarah is a sixth year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at The George Washington University. Sarah received a B.A. in Psychology from Vassar College. Sarah collaborates on projects investigating eating habits and use of performance enhancing substances. Sarah is on her clinical internship at Stanford University and working on her dissertation. Sarah's clinical interests include pervasive developmental disorders and working with adolescent populations.

Crystal Kannankeril (2004-2005)

Crystal graduated from The George Washington University in December 2005. Crystal completed a PsyD at Loyola College in Baltimore, MD. Her clinical interests are working with adolescents experiencing depression and anxiety.

Allison Seitchik (2004-2006)

Allison graduated from The George Washington University in May 2006. Allison worked for 2-years as a Lab Manager/Research Specialist at the University at Pennsylvania in Dr. Alylet Ruscio's Anxiety, Depression and Emotion lab. Allison is now a first-year doctoral student in the Social Psychology program at Northeastern University.

Nicole Trickett (2006-2008)

Nicole graduated from The George Washington University in May 2008 with a BA in Psychology. Nicole is working for the Teach for America program in the San Francisco Bay area.

Matthew Eckstein (2008)

Matthew joined the lab during the Spring 2008 with a Computer Science and Psychology double major. Matthew now works for Microsoft.
